Technique Thursday Faux Ribbon Technique
Tonight I demonstrated the Faux Ribbon Technique and we created two cards. I saw this technique a couple weeks ago and fell in love. It looks complicated, but really, it's not. The most important to know is how to place the Designer Series Paper, and use a 1/2" piece of cardstock as a spacer.
I'm using the Rustic Harvest Suite Collection for the first card (page 48 July - December Mini catalog 2022) I almost always decorate the inside and create a stamped envelope to coordinate. I don't always picture it.
For
this card, I used the Awash in Beauty Suite Collection (page 66 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) . The spacing is
critical to achieving the ribbon look. Again, I am showing you the inside and the envelope I created to
coordinate with the card.
