 My Favorite Tools

Do you have a favorite tool in your craft room? I asked myself that question one day while I was crafting, and it was hard to name just one tool I liked most, so, on January 1, 2022, I started sharing at least one of my favorite tools in a weekly series. As we go, I'll demonstrate a few of the not-so-obvious benefits.

Silicone Craft Sheet (127853 $6) I use it under my projects when I need to add adhesive near the edge, and the adhesive doesn't stick to the silicone mat. I also use it with the embossing paste because it's easy to clean.

Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755 $4) I like it because I can use it on almost anything, and it's relatively forgiving; if I place something down and need to adjust it, I'm able to move it a bit. Stampin' Dimensionals (104430 $4) and Foam Adhesive Sheets (152815 $8) close second and third.

 I Needed a Sympathy Card

I love making cards, but I don't like it when I have to make a sympathy card.😢
After a two-day battle of Influenza, our friend unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord Jesus. Right now I have no words.

Heat Tool (129053 $30) – I use my heat tool every time I embossed something using my Stampin' Embossing Powder, and it does a great job of drying ink if I'm in a hurry.

Grid Paper (130148 $12.50) -  I love the grid paper because it's 17" x 11", and it keeps my surface clean; it has a ruler on all four sides. One side is imperial, and the other side is metric. After using one side, I can flip it over and double the usage.

My Business Name: Tucker Topnotch Designs

Most people don't know the story behind my business name. Even though I have talked about how I started my business, I haven't talked about the name. Plus, it's not something I put a lot of thought into when trying to come up with something I liked.
My business name is Tucker Topnotch Designs. I chose that name because I wanted to use at least part of my name in my business name, and I wanted to remind myself what type of work I am doing. Yes, I'm crafting and creating, but if I take the time to demonstrate something or sell it, I want to do the best work I can. After each project, I ask myself if it is a top-notch design. If it is, you'll see it here on my blog and probably on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TuckerTND, and if I demonstrated it, it would be on my YouTube page https://tinyurl.com/youtubeTNDvideos
