 I need a break!

Do you blame me? LOL  No, my craft studio doesn't always look like this, but I was shamed into digging into what's been hidden and get a handle on all my crafting STUFF.

Sunday we consulted with a friend to install a security system around the outside of our home. He came inside to scope things out and to determine where is the best place to monitor the cameras.

I about fell over when he stepped into my craft studio. Running cables and wires has to come into the house somewhere. I get that, but, but, does it need to come in THIS room?  Is this really the best place to set monitoring and surveillance back-up. He asked if he could bring the cables through the ceiling in the closet. Wait! Wait! don't open that door!! "Why?" he asks as he opened the door to the abyss. I'll never get the door closed.

So, I went to work. It looks worse than it really is, I say with hesitation. A lot of what I pulled out of the closet is now in the middle of the room in three piles. Throw away, give away, and sell. After three hours of this, I need a break! With all this destruction I need to create something beautiful, so here it is.

I decided to get out the Basic Border Dies and a favorite stamp and die set, Art Gallery Bundle. I'll list the products I used below.

 Here are the measurements.
 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Basic Black   cardstock
5 1/4" x 4" Basic White   cardstock  for the inside.
 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" DSP
 8 1/2" x 3" Basic white for   stamping.
Scrap of Basic White cardstock   for the greeting.
3 1/4" x 5 1/8" Basic White   cardstock and embossed with the   Pretty Flowers embossing folder.
Adhere the embossed cardstock to  the front of the card.

Score the black cardstock in half at 4 1/4". Place the basic white card stock inside.

Add the DSP to the front of the card. Use the Border dies to cut the bottom on the 3 1/4" x 5 1/8" white cardstock.

Stamp the flowers and leaves on white cardstock. Die-cut them out. Adhere them to the front. I used Foam Sheets for the flowers and greeting. I used Liquid Glue for the stem and leaves.  I finished the card off with 2021-2023 In Color Jewels. Last, I decorated the envelope.

I hope you like the cards. Here is my list of supplies.
