For today's project, I am highlighting one of the Butterfly Brilliance Collection butterflies available between March 2 and May 3. I am excited about this stamp set! Although I didn't use the DSP for this card, I'm in love with it! If you haven't seen the 6x6  Butterfly Bijou double sided DSP, you'll love it too. You can purchase this limited stock of DSP by clicking on the live link above. The DSP is a short sale and is only available while supplies last. It will not carry over to the new Annual Catalog on May 4.

I began with 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"  Misty Moonlight cardstock scored at 4-1/4", then I layered on Basic White cardstock and stamped it with one of the butterflies from the stamp set. With this Brilliant Butterfly Collection, you have options!  One of the unique characteristics is that one large die fits the DSP and cuts out six of the more giant butterflies with one pass through the  Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Look at how perfectly the large die fits the butterflies right down the center of the DSP.

You can use your dies again to cut out the remaining pieces along the edge and place them inside the card. Similar to the second photo, although I stamped mine, rather than die-cutting.

I used Stampin' Write Markers to tap tiny dots along the edge of the butterfly. I started dotting the colors close to the butterfly, then faded out as I stamped outward. Then I went back and traced along the butterfly with the same color.  Next, I cut out just the words "Thank you" from the Dragonfly Garden Bundleand adhered it to the front. Next, I took the Magenta Madness Stampin' Write marker to sprinkle a few dots along the edge. I've listed the supplies below. Please comment and like my blog. I really appreciate it.
